My Hero |
My name is Lizzy. I'm a Leo, and proud of it. Born and bred in Australia and 18 years of age.
My favourite bands are Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, Panic at the Disco, 30 Seconds To Mars and My Chemical Romance. I love their music and I love the messages that they deliver. Andrew McMahon is my overall hero; I admire him as a person and as an artist.
I love Soccer, I used to play for Brothers FC and I support Arsenal in the English Premier League. I love Tennis and my favourite players are Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovich. I support the Newcastle Knights in the Rugby League and I go for St Kilda in the AFL.
I listen to a lot of music; music is what makes me happy. I am in a band and I would love to make music my life. My other passion is writing. Those things make me whole. I may be right-handed but I'm a left-hander at heart. I love to draw. I love photography and I am rarely seen without a camera in my hand. I love spending hours on the computer making things with html or photoshop, even if it is something as simple as an archive of fanfiction for a message board. I love my friends and I love my family.

Andrew Ross McMahon is my hero, basically. He has helped me to focus on the good things in life rather than on the bad, something which has made living in this world so much more fun. He has never failed to inspire me, and he has never failed to impress me with his amazing strength. This world needs more people like him. Listening to his music makes me feel alive, as cliché as that may sound. He always knows exactly what to say, and how to say it eloquently. His strength throughout his illness and still now is something to be admired. I can't possibly explain what this man means to me or what he has contributed to my life without even knowing I exist. I have tried before and failed, but, I guess, that in its self says everything that I cannot say.
